Where it began…

What an amazing wedding day this was in New Orleans! Emily and Adam put so much thought and planning into their day, and it really showed. Emily chose a beautifully light-filled room to get ready in at Maison de la Luz in New Orleans, LA. We love Maison de la Luz for all of the beautiful colors and style it offers, standing out as a true one of a kind location. Meanwhile, right across the street, Adam was hanging out with his groomsmen at the Ace Hotel, which offers a more masculine feel and edgy vibe. After a short period of time getting dressed and ready, it was time for the first look. Adam left the Ace Hotel and walked over to where we were at Maison de la Luz for the first look in the gorgeous stairwell and they were all smiles. After snagging a few photos in the stairwell and lobby, we walked outside and down the block for some gorgeous outdoor portraits before it was time to leave for the ceremony.

Their ceremony was out in the City Park Sculpture Gardens, and the cool breeze blew through the trees as the sun set, making for the most magical backdrops New Orleans can offer.
